Korean artist Jee Young Lee uses a small studio in Seoul as her canvas. She designs emotionally and visually intense scenes that take weeks to months to complete. After ensuring perfection in every detail, she inserts herself into the scenes to complete these amazing self-portraits. The sets and her presence tell a story about her personal experiences or traditional Korean fables resulting in works of deep reflection and trips into the psychological realm.
Jee Young’s amazing work will be on display at the OPIOM Gallery in Opio France from Feb. 7 to March 7, 2014.
